Also recommended is the Holland America Coverage.
Holland America (HAL) has two types of insurance coverage which is a second
insurance that most guests take when traveling with a celebrity.
Unlike insurance the covers you for Covered reasons such as sickness,
illness, injury to you and your immediate family, The HAL insurance
allows you to cancel for ANY reason up until 24 hours prior to departure and
receive a percentage of your money back.
HAL Standard Insurance: Will
cover you for up to 80% of your money less $200.00 processing fee if you cancel for Any reason up
to 24 hours prior to departure. It will not cover you within 24 hours prior
to departure or while you are on the cruise. That is why most people take
this insurance and the Travel Guard Insurance listed above.
HAL Platinum Insurance: This
coverage is more expensive but will return up to 90% of your money
less $200.00 processing fee if
you cancel for Any reason up to 24 hours prior to departure.
Ask about Holland America
Insurance rates as they are based on the category that you select. HAL
insurance MUST be paid with your initial deposit.
AIR AND OTHER ARRANGEMENTS TO
GET YOU THERE: Air rates vary with
city of departure. Airline tickets (including roundtrip transfers between
the airport and the ship) may be purchased from
the cruise line. In many cases, you can
obtain better airfares, but we won’t know the best prices until you
are ready to book. Western cities may require a one night pre-cruise hotel
stay (which is additional). If you obtain your
airline tickets on your own, please be
sure that your arrival time is early enough to get to the ship before
it departs and that your return flight leaves
late enough to allow time for the ship to
complete U.S. Customs procedures and for you to get to the airport. Check
with Cruise Events if you are not sure.
SHORE EXCURSIONS ARE
OPTIONAL. See the Excursions Office
when you board the ship or look at the
website to pre-book your tours.
Greg Evigan's SEMINARS : Are
only available with the purchase of the cruise
package through Cruise Events. Seminar registration will not be sold separately.
Video taping of seminars is prohibited.
CONSUMER DISCLOSURE NOTICE
Please read the Terms & Conditions carefully, as your deposit and payment
for a trip constitutes consent to all conditions and general information
contained in this brochure. Responsibility: These trips are arranged by
Cruise Events LLC, ("Operator"). It has made the travel arrangements
as agent for the transportation carriers and other suppliers of services
connected with the tour ("suppliers"), all of which are independent
contractors. Operator in no way owns or operates the vehicles or facilities to
be used during the trip, and does not guarantee or assume responsibility for the
acts and/or omissions of suppliers, their employees, agents, etc. All bookings
are accepted subject to the conditions imposed by suppliers and Operator,
including airline, cruise line, rail, coach, hotel, restaurants, insurance and
other companies, firms or persons concerned with the trip, and Operator will
make no refund in the event of their delay, cancellation, overbooking, strike,
force majeure or for elements of the package not used by customer. If there is a
difference between Operator’s Conditions and those published by supplier, the
conditions of suppliers shall apply. Price quoted is per person double
occupancy. Please note that port, government taxes and fees are subject to
change. Operator reserves the right to cancel a trip, change the itinerary or
adjust rates whenever in its sole judgment conditions warrant, or if Operator
deems it necessary for your comfort, convenience or safety. The company reserves
the right to adjust prices due to fluctuations in foreign exchange rates. Please
note that in some cases, your airline tickets will be electronically issued in
lieu of paper tickets. Car Rental and Fly/Drive programs are subject to the
rental terms in the country where you start your tour. In all cases, you will
need to present a current drivers license. Other conditions such as age
requirements, insurance, surcharges, fuel, extra drivers etc. will be explained
to you at the point of rental.
If
you purchased air from the cruise line, you will receive a flight confirmation with your
documents which you present at the time of check-in at the airport counter with
proper and valid ID such as passport. Trips outside the USA require a valid
passport or other acceptable forms of citizenship proof. You are responsible
for, and release Operator from, passport, visa, vaccination requirements and
safety conditions in travel destinations.

Operator reserves the right to decline to accept any person as a member of the
tour, or to require any participant to withdraw from the trip at any time who
presents a significant risk to the health or safety of himself or others which
can not be eliminated or reduced to an acceptable level by Operator’s
reasonable accommodation. Operator reserves the right to correct an error in the
brochure presentation or advertised price prior to your departure. Prices in
this brochure are accurate at the time of printing and are subject to change
without notice due to changes in market factors including but not limited to
foreign currency and supplier cost fluctuations. Prices set forth in future
brochures shall supercede the prices in this brochure. Airfare quotes, and
prices for tours that include air, in this brochure are subject to airline
capacity limitations and higher airfares may apply depending on seat
availability at time of reservation. A contract is made when your reservation
and payment are accepted by Operator at its office, and any dispute shall be
governed by Pennsylvania law and subject to the jurisdiction of Bucks County,
Pennsylvania. You agree not to bring any claim
against the Operator unless you have notified the Operator in writing of your
dissatisfaction with the Operator and filed a claim in the Bucks County Court of
Common Pleas within six (6) months from the first date of the cruise.
You agree that you should bring such a claim in the Bucks County Court of
Common Pleas and not prevail, that you will reimburse Cruise Events for the full
cost of Cruise Events legal fees and costs of litigation even if you should
prevail in any action against Cruise Events.
In calculating the cost of your trip, Operator has relied on your consent
to these terms and conditions and in the absence of this consent and the
releases set forth in these terms and conditions the trip cost would have been
materially higher.
Operator reserves the right to substitute hotels of similar
quality at any time or to make changes in itinerary of similar quality. Operator
will not be responsible to any person for expense, loss of time, money or other
circumstance resulting from a change in itinerary or change of tour arrangements
nor for any other special, incidental or consequential damages. Operator also reserves the right to cancel a tour prior to
departure, and in such cases all payments made to date will be refunded and
shall constitute full settlement. If you purchase an airline ticket separately,
ensure that your travel agent explains the conditions under which the ticket is
issued as Operator assumes no responsibility for such airline ticket
cancellation fees. Please understand that not all museums and attractions are
open every day of the year. Operator reserves the right to vary the sequence of
sightseeing and/or to re-route the order of cities if that will enable you to
visit all listed excursions. In either case, the itinerary content will be
maintained to the extent possible and there are no refunds for any unused or
unavailable excursions.
If any of the terms and conditions are
determined to be illegal unenforceable, or invalid in the whole or in part for
any reason such illegal unenforceable or invalid
provision or part thereof shall be stricken from these terms and conditions and
such provision shall not affect the legality, enforceability, or validity of the
remainder of these terms and conditions. If
any term or condition or part thereof is stricken, the stricken provision shall
be replaced, to the extent possible, with a legal, enforceable, and valid
provision that is similar in tenor to the stricken provision where legally
possible. Should you breach any of
these terms and conditions, you agree no waiver of your breach by Cruise Events
shall be effective unless it is writing signed by the Director of Cruise Events,
and you further agree that any specific waiver shall not constitute a continuing
waiver unless the writing so specifies. NO
